SPRING INTO ACTION: CLEAN UP, CLEAR OUT, GIVE BACK!

Our annual Community Clean-up Day is coming up on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. We're bringing waste, recycling, and donation services to our community to help you spring clean and purge your pile.


Co-hosted by West Springs Cougar Ridge Community Association and in partnership with the City of Calgary.

 

WHEN: Sunday, May 17 | 9 am – 2 pm

WHERE: French International School Parking Lot - 700-77 St SW COST: Mostly* Free! However, an optional entry fee of one non-perishable food item or donation to the Calgary Food Bank is encouraged.

*Some items may require a disposal fee. Please ensure you have cash on hand to cover these fees.


TIPS FOR SUCCESS

  1. PLAN AHEAD Review the list of accepted and unaccepted items before you arrive.

  2. ARRIVE EARLY This event may end early due to capacity. Arrive before 12:30 p..m. so you are not disappointed.

Household hazardous waste materials can be brought directly to a City of Calgary household hazardous waste drop-off location. Please visit the City of Calgary's Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Program for more information.
