Calling all Wine Lovers
Are you a wine lover? Looking to stock up for the holidays and winter? We have the fundraiser for you! We will be hosting a Holiday Wine Survivor for the month of November. It's basically a raffle, but you win wine instead of cash! At the same time you are donating to our Community Association to help us put on free and affordable events and programs in our city.
The Details:
Ticket Sales: Nov 1 - 10th, come back here to find the link to get your tickets. We will also post updates on our Facebook and Instagram.
You can buy as many tickets as you would like to increase your chance of winning!
Cost: Tickets will be $40, with $20 going towards the Community Association and $20 going towards the cost of the wine. Every ticket sold means one more bottle of wine will be added to the raffle. The average retail cost for the wine will be $25.
Elimination/Survival:
From Nov 14 - Nov 26 we will have 6 draws to "eliminate" tickets.
If you are kicked off the Wine Island, you have the option to Buy Back In.
Members of CHPH will receive one free Buy Back. Email memberships@chph.ca to purchase a membership! Memberships will be valid until the end of 2026 and have loads of other perks.
Each ticket can only buy back in 2 twice. There will be no buy backs for the final draw.
The final 3 people on the Wine Island win!

Prizes: Winners Announced on Nov 27th with wine pick up on Dec 1st.
First Kicked Off Prize: 1 bottle of wine to the first ticket who is eliminated and accepts their elimination.
Prize 3: 20% of total wine
Prize 2: 30% of total wine
Grand Prize Winner: 50% of total wine purchased wine
These percentages might not end up exact as we can’t split a bottle of wine, so it will be
rounded in the favour of the Grand Prize Winner
The Wines: We have a Sommelier on the board who will select a range of the best wines at that price point at a discounted rate. We will work with a small business in Calgary keeping in line with our Community focus.
Additional Rules:
All ticket holders must be 18 years of age or older. All winners must be able to show a piece of government issued I.D with their photo to pick up.
Any adult in Calgary can participate. The more sign ups we have- the bigger the prize!
In order to buy back in, the request must be sent to us via email 24 hours after the elimination announcement.
