CHPH in conjunction with Calgary Community Standards is pleased to once again host a Spring Recycling Cleanup. This is the perfect time to clean up your yard or garage of any of these items and keep them out of our landfills.
When: *Saturday, May 29 2021, from 9 am to 2 pm
Where: Parking Lot at 60 Patterson Blvd SW
*Pending Covid restrictions – If this event must be cancelled due to Covid restrictions, we will post an update here and on the community Facebook page. See below for more details on how we will handle safety at the event.
Working with various partners, we will accept:
Disposable furniture & household items.
Metal, Steel or Scrap
Computers, Office Equipment & Electronics.
Car seats - $15 for car seats
$25 per mattress, $20 for box springs
Usable clothes & small household items in good condition.
Usable Furniture & Appliances.
Bottles and Cans
Please note, we cannot accept the following items:
Combustibles or explosive materials, radioactive materials. gasoline, diesel or propane products, asbestos materials, automotive batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, large appliances (refrigerators, freezers, ovens, stoves, washers, dryers, air conditioners) not drained of fluids or electrical components, paper products or garbage.
There is no shredding available at this event.

All staff, volunteers, and community members dropping off items for recycling are required to wear a mask and stay 2 meters apart from others.
Masks will be provided to those who do not have one by our volunteers.
You must stay in your vehicle. Volunteers will assist drivers in transferring items from vehicles to designated bins or containers.
Hand sanitiser will be available.
