Every year we host a Community Recycling Event in conjunction with Calgary Community Standards We work with various partners to take clothing, furniture & household items, scrap metal, old electronics, paint, mattresses, and car seats in order to keep them out of the landfill.
We know that it is an important community resource for many people in Coach Hill-Patterson Heights and in 2021 we had an overwhelming response to the event - it was the first time in our history that we had to manage really long lineups and ultimate turn some people away.
